A: Forelsket consists of a very small team. Everything is handmade in small batches with care and a focus on quality.

 

Q: Where does the name Forelsket come from?

A: Forelsket is a Norwegian word for the feeling you get when you fall in love. It is both how we hope you feel when you use our products, and also an homage to our founder’s Norwegian heritage.

 

Q: Are your products safe for sensitive skin? 

A: Yes. All our products are completely natural and hypoallergenic. 

 

Q: Are your products safe for children?

A: Eucalyptus Essential Oil should not be used with children under the age of 12. Avoid purchasing items from our Australia line if gifting them to a child.

 

Q: Are your products Gluten free? 

A: Yes. All of our products are gluten free.

 

Q: Are your products Vegan?

A: Yes, with the exception of the Lotion Bars which contain Beeswax.

 

Q: Are your products nut-free?

A: Shea butter is extracted from a Shea tree nut. Our Bath Bombs and Bubble Scoops contain Shea Butter, as do the Ecuador and France Bars of Soap. 

 

Q: Are your products fragrance free? 

A: No. Forelsket prides itself on basing its products on different international locations as a way to spread our love of travel. Each handcrafted product has a unique scent representative of the location the scent originates from.

 

Q: Are your products made with essential oils?

Q: Are your products Phthalate free?

A. Yes. All of them.

 

Q: What is in your soap base?

A: Our clear and white Glycerin Soap Base as well as our Triple Butter Soap Base is a vegetable base. The Triple Butter Soap Base also uses Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, and Mango Butter.

 

Q: How long do orders take to fill?

A: Each order is custom filled with handmade products. To ensure the utmost quality, items are made in small batches. Some items are really quick and others take 24-48 hours to dry after being made. Depending on where your items fall in the production process, it could take between 3-5 business days to fill an order.
